NEWS UPDATE: Scottish Ministers have authorised an application made by REG Greenburn Limited to vary the consent granted on 21 April 2023 to construct and operate Greenburn Wind Park, located approximately 4.5 km to the west of New Cumnock, in the Planning Authority area of East Ayrshire Council.
As varied, Greenburn Wind Park comprises 14 wind turbines (11 wind turbines up to 180 m blade to tip height, 1 wind turbine up to 167.5 m blade to tip height and 2 wind turbines up to 149.9 m blade to tip height).
Scottish Ministers have also directed, under Section 57 (2) of the Town & Country Planning Act (Scotland) 1997, that planning permission is deemed to be granted for the varied development.
